Questions, answered.
Plain answers about what we do, what you get, and what a business plan can and can't do.
VenturePlanned prepares business plans. We don't arrange, broker, or guarantee funding, loans, or investment, and approval decisions rest with lenders and investors.
Will this get me a loan?
No plan can promise that, and we won't. VenturePlanned prepares business plans. We don't arrange, broker, or guarantee funding, loans, or investment, and approval decisions rest with lenders and investors. Lenders look at many things a plan can't change, like credit history, collateral, and cash flow. What we do is prepare your plan to the standard lenders and investors expect, with cited research and a model they can check, so your request is clear and complete.
What exactly do I get?
A business plan in Word (.docx) and PDF, plus an Excel (.xlsx) financial model. The Investor Plan adds an editable PowerPoint (.pptx) pitch deck. The Annual Update adds a one-page "what changed" summary. Each package page lists the details.
Can I edit the files?
Yes. They're standard Microsoft Office files, and they're yours. The Excel model uses live formulas, so if you change an assumption, the results update.
How long does it take?
One-Page Plan: Turnaround coming soon. Lender-Ready Plan: Turnaround coming soon. Investor Plan + Deck: Turnaround coming soon. Annual Update: Turnaround coming soon. Ordering is not open yet. No turnaround is promised until one is set for your order.
What do I need to provide?
Answers to a guided questionnaire (about 15–50 minutes depending on the package) and, for existing businesses, recent financial statements or tax returns if you have them. Estimates are fine, and "not sure" is always an acceptable answer. If something important is missing, the plan is to ask a few short follow-up questions. The questionnaire is not on this site yet.
Who prepares and reviews my plan?
Your plan is built in a set sequence: your answers, cited market research, a formula-driven Excel model, a plan draft, and a checklist review against what lenders and investors commonly look for. Every plan gets a final review and approval before delivery.
How do revisions work?
Revision terms coming soon The plan is to take change requests from your order page and run them through the same checks and final approval before updated files are sent. That order page is not open yet.
What is your refund policy?
Refund terms coming soon. Any refund will be based on our work, not on a lender's or investor's decision. Full terms will be added to the Terms of Service after attorney review.
How is my financial information handled?
Ordering isn't open yet, so we don't collect financial uploads on this website today. Before you send anything, the privacy policy will explain how files are stored, who processes them, and how long they're kept.
Are you affiliated with the SBA or any lender?
No. VenturePlanned is independent. We aren't affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Small Business Administration, any bank, or any lender.
Can I use my plan for a grant application?
Often, yes. Many grant and economic development programs ask for a business plan, and ours follows a clear, standard structure. Programs have their own requirements, so check yours, and tell us about it in the questionnaire. As with loans, the decision rests with the program.
Do you give legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice?
No. We prepare business plans and financial projections. For legal, tax, accounting, or investment questions, talk to a qualified professional. You can share your Excel model with your CPA.
I'm just starting out and don't have financial records. Can you still help?
Yes. Startup questions don't ask for past results. Give your best estimates for costs, prices, and sales, and we'll research typical figures for your industry and area. Every estimate is labeled, so you know exactly what's assumed.
How do I cancel my Annual Update?
Subscriptions are not open yet, so there is no account page to cancel from. When they are, cancellation is planned to take effect at the end of the current year.
